THE CHOREOGRAPHER

Swapnasundari's versatility is best reflected in her choreographic
work. She handles all aspects related to her productions -
research, script, stage-adaptation, music-composition, music-
recording and costume-design, besides the choreography itself.

She also conceptualizes the technical
aspects of large productions such as
light and stage- design.

Swapnasundari's choreography is her artistic response to literature and poetry,

of which she is an avid reader. She has adapted a staggering variety of literary works in various languages to both solo and group choreography. Her compositions, employ literature of ancient

languages like Pali & Indian regional languages like Kashmiri, Urdu, Punjabi, Sindhi, Marathi, Bengali & several dialets of Hindi besides the four Southern Indian languages. Her dance compositions also incorporate English poetry and prose.
